England Men's U20 team to face Loughborough University

Alan Dickens has named his team to face Loughborough University on Saturday 21 January (KO 12:00) at Loughborough Uni.

Speaking ahead of the game, England men’s U20 head coach, Alan Dickens, said: “The game against Loughborough University is another excellent opportunity for us to put our training into practice and assess how the players work as a group.

“We had a strong hit-out against Oxford University last Saturday, and our preparation in camp this week has also gone really well. Each players’ commitment and mindset has been fantastic as we continue preparations for our Six Nations opener against Scotland at Twickenham Stoop in two weeks’ time.”

Lewis Chessum will captain the team at lock and packs down in the scrum alongside Danny Eite.

Archie McArthur, Calum Scott and Afolabi Fasogbon start in the front row, while Finn Carnduff, Tristan Woodman and Rob Nixon make up the back row.

Charlie Bracken and Monty Bradbury pair up in the halves, with Joseph Woodward and Rekeiti Ma'asi-White lining up in the centres.

The back three sees Cassius Cleaves and Tobias Elliott on the wings, with Sam Harris at full back.
