England Rugby support 2.6 Challenge

In place of The London Marathon, which would have gone ahead last Sunday, the Rugby Football Union (RFU) took part in the 2.6 Challenge - a campaign to help UK Charities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 2.6 Challenge - which encourages people to come up with a challenge and donate to charity - saw England players, referees and inspiring members of the rugby family take part.

Including Dani Watts, a client of the Injured Player's Foundation (IPF) since suffering a catastrophic injury in 2017. Watch her video below.

England players put their own spin on the 2.6 Challenge, as seen above, but it can be any activity you like, from running 2.6 miles to doing 26 push-ups, and we’re asking the rugby community to get involved. Choose your #TwoPointSixChallenge and if you are able to – make a donation or do some fundraising.

The Injured Player’s Foundation (IPF) is England Rugby’s official charity. They provide support and information to rugby players in England who sustain a catastrophic spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury playing the game, and help prevent future injuries through vital research. So when thinking of who to support through a donation, we ask you consider the IPF.

Find details below of some 2.6 Challenge ideas you could try at home, and make sure to film it and post on social media with the @EnglandRugby handle and the hashtag #TwoPointSixChallenge
